Overview and Responsibilities

Paramount Global seeks a Manager, Global Security for our unique Hollywood Headquarters. The person in this role will report to the VP of Global Security. This is a wonderful opportunity for to join a leading global media and entertainment company!

  • You will supervise and lead onsite security employees, third-party vendors (contracted to provide security services to our facilities), and security activities.
  • Responsible for the master schedule; daily scheduling of all assigned security personnel.
  • Identify and develop program issues impacting security operations, and review reports and or situations for potential negative impact.
  • Analyze department functions to make suggestions/recommendations to increase effectiveness and productivity when appropriate.
  • Assess and measure the performance of security to deploy or re-deploy assets as required based on the situation at any point in time.
  • Engage in Emergency Management as necessary when emergencies or disasters occur.
  • Provide other duties at the direction of or in the absence of the Security Director.
  • Handle processing of invoices and billing for accuracy and other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
  • 7+ years extensive operational experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or a related field.
  • Ability to be on call 24/7 and/or to travel periodically as planned/unplanned.
  • Must have executive competence to communicate and lead meetings.
  • Strong written communication skills required to document security programs and periodic surveys.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Management, or other related area preferred.
  • Management background in corporate or law enforcement / government operations program is preferred.
  • Experience in personnel management is preferred.
  • Ability to lead and motivate employees.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with Security Services.
  • Ability to handle multiple, diverse tasks simultaneously and independently.
  • Strong project management skills and leadership qualities.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, conflict management and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to meet daring timelines in a highly dynamic, cross-disciplinary environment.
