Job Summary

In this role, you will work with global and cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical partners to analyze information security needs, facilitate process mapping, and define requirements for our Vulnerability Management system that aligns with our information security strategy. You will be working with our ServiceNow development team as the SME to develop features and integrations, drawing your critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Essential Functions

• Be the product owner for the Vulnerability Management system and work through agile stories from conception to completion, including setting clear requirements, creating comprehensive test cases, and tracking multiple concurrent stories.
• Act as the voice of the customer in the definition and development of solutions to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Gather and manage product feedback through directly interfacing with users to understand challenges and collaboratively generate solutions.
• Work cross functionally with tool owners to understand their specific tool in order to develop integrations to ServiceNow.
• Ensure the team knowledge base is up to date by documenting processes, developed features, and new integrations.
• Understand integrations with multiple information security tools and work to improve data quality.
• Develop KPIs/KRIs to measure both development progress as well as trends in the data created within the Vulnerability Management system.

• Recommends changes to process, SLA’s, department policies, procedures, metrics, and standards.
• Influences senior management on decisions related to department priorities, schedules, plans and cost controls.
• Achieves objectives for multiple and varied projects.
• Regularly makes decisions necessary to resolve critical issues related to department operations.

Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used

• Agile development experience
• Knowledge and experience on the ServiceNow platform
• Experience launching at least one digital product and/or heavily customizing 3rd-party software tools and integrations
• Understanding of Information Security principles with strong knowledge of Vulnerability Management
• Knowledge of Information Security tools such as Qualys, Prisma Cloud, Tanium a plus.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, diverse, sometimes vague environments; ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects and tasks while demonstrating urgency and ownership to drive quality outcomes.
• Experience with data analytics with the ability to provide qualitative analysis and recommendations.
• Attention to details, excellent analytical thinking, and time management skills.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills that bridge the gap between business and engineering teams

Typical Education

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline (i.e., computer science, electrical engineering, information systems). Training courses, seminars, certifications, or other security related education experience preferred.

Typical Range of Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a senior contributor
• 5+years hands on experience either in vulnerability management or in product owner/product manager role

License or Certification

• Experience with ServiceNow and/or ITIL is a plus

Pay Range: $73,700 - $108,400 annually

This hiring range is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range of possible compensation at the time of the posting, and is subject to change. The actual compensation offered will be determined by various factors, which may include a candidate’s education, training, experience, and geographic location.
