OVERVIEW & IMPACT

As a member of the GNSS ASIC team, the candidate will contribute to the SoC integration and release IP. It is required to have a strong background on the entire SoC design flow all across from FE design, synthesis, lint, STA, CDC, DFT, low power UPF, logic equivalence, and BE methodologies. The position is requiring deep understanding of each design stage methodologies and hands-on the major EDA tools for each step.
The candidate should exhibit strong technical abilities and collaboration with other team members across worldwide locations and great communication skills in spoken and written language.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an SoC Integration engineer you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of SoC:

  • Responsible for FE RTL synthesis with DFT.

  • Provides the power diagram and will lead UPF for low power digital chip design.

  • Be responsible for CDC and lint analysis.

  • Provides the script for the ECO with EQ.

  • Be the interface for PD for floorplanning and timing closure from STA.

  • Function as the liaison between so many diverse groups within and across worldwide locations. Be able to drive communication and collaboration across teams is a crucial attribute.

  • In addition, your familiarity with DFT and backend related methodologies and tools will be a welcomed asset for us.


REQUIRED SKILLS
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in low power wireless SoC design with a leading chipset company:

  • BS with extensive industry experience or MS is preferred.

  • Previous experience in from the frontend RTL design, IP integration, and IP releasing.

  • Industry exposure to and knowledge of SoC design methodology.

  • Experience with system design methodologies that contain synthesis, STA, CDC, lint, DFT, EQ, UPF, etc.

  • Experience in clock, power management and system debug designs.

  • Experience in low-power design issues, tools, methodologies, and power analysis capabilities.

  • Excellent collaboration skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
