Job Title: L3 Frontend Engineer
Location: San Diego, CA
Reports To: Head of Technology
Salary: $85-$95k
Responsibilities:
- Unleash your creativity as you design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend solutions for our software products.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into captivating and functional user interfaces.
- Craft clean, efficient, and reusable code utilizing React.js, Gatsby.js, Next.js, and other relevant technologies.
- Employ rigorous testing and debugging techniques to ensure optimal performance and user-friendliness of frontend applications.
- Team up with the QA squad to identify and tackle frontend issues, ensuring the delivery of flawless software.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with emerging frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, evaluating their potential implementation in our projects.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to elevate code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Technology, identifying technical challenges and presenting innovative solutions.
- Contribute to scoping and estimating frontend development efforts for effective project planning and resource allocation.
- Play an active role in refining and enhancing our frontend development processes and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering, with a deep understanding of frontend principles and best practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in React.js, Gatsby.js, Next.js, and other relevant frontend technologies.
- Exhibit a solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their interaction with frontend frameworks.
- Show expertise in responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Leverage your exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex frontend issues.
- Excel in communication and collaboration, thriving in cross-functional teams.
- Exhibit a knack for prioritization, meeting project deadlines with precision.
