REPORTS TO: General Manager/Shift Leader
Position Summary: The Cashier positions are critical to the daily success of the restaurant. Part of our mission is to serve hearty and flavorful food, and it has to be done right! The line is just that…the front lines of our operation and standards must be exceeded to ensure we execute on our mission. We are looking for a Shift Leader to oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts. Shift Leader responsibilities include managing cash, resolving conflicts and checking equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively. If you’re a leader committed to quality service and have experience in our industry, we’d like to meet you.

Job Requirements:
  • Positive work ethic, reliable for showing up to scheduled shifts, and last minute calls
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent menu and product knowledge.
  • Accountable for the preparation of the guest’s order.
  • Able to communicate effectively with guests and handle questions and concerns in a professional manner.

  • Participates in all Firehouse Subs® Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
  • Maintains an organized, stocked, and sanitary work space.
  • Able and willing to complete other restaurant functions such as cashier, cleaning, per management direction, or any other duties assigned by the general manager, or shift leader.
  • Maintains a safe and positive work environment, adhering to all established food and safety guidelines.
  • Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
  • Train and coach new employees
  • Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
