innovative as we build the next generation ArcGIS Monitor
product.
ArcGIS Monitor is a
product uniquely tailored to monitor the system health, performance, and usage of ArcGIS implementations throughout the lifecycle. By observing and analyzing both traditional and cloud infrastructure, software, and supporting system metrics, we empower organizations to optimize their ArcGIS systems by detecting anomalies, reduce costs with more effective
operations, and understand overall system performance and capacity.
The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. We break ground in new markets, push the
technology envelope and ultimately deliver transformational solutions to high profile clients worldwide. The Professional Services organization is comprised of nearly 1,000 talented
business and technical professionals who strive every day to help our users be successful.
Responsibilities:
- Build front-end and back-end software components with an emphasis on JavaScript that follow industry-standard design patterns, methodologies, and deployment models

Collaborate with focused team to create robust software throughout the product development lifecycle

Take initiative to solve complex front-end and back-end problems

Help ensure software architecture and implementation is consistent, efficient, robust, and scalable

Evolve your development language skills by staying current with complementary languages, methodologies, and software design techniques

Serve as a resource and mentor to members of the development team and colleagues in our Professional Services Division
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilities

Professional software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS
-
Experience with NodeJS frameworks such as Express and browser frameworks such as Vue or React
-
Understanding and experience with software development methodologies (SCRUM) and support tooling (GIT)

Ability to work closely with a team to build quality software in a constantly evolving environment
-
Excellent problem-solving, design, development, and debugging skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical audiences

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or STEM related field
Recommended Qualifications:
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash

Understanding and experience working with web services/REST APIs

Working knowledge of relational databases and modeling such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL

Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or STEM related field

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other
business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $93,600.00 - $156,000.00.
