Overview:
As an enthusiastic and talented software developer, you will join a team that pushes the boundaries of technology to achieve a shared mission: bringing the power of GIS indoors. Esri has put a large effort into making indoor GIS accessible for both consumers and experts. The product provides individuals indoor maps, apps, and dashboards to locate assets and amenities, find and book work spaces, navigate buildings, and coordinate facility services.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and test components that make feature services
  • Create intuitive user interfaces in C#/WPF that allow users to solve problems faster and easier
  • Solve complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences
  • Create software that is scalable, easy to use, and easy to maintain
  • Find, analyze, and fix bugs/performance problems whenever and wherever they occur in the software
  • Build and ship quality software by working effectively with members of other software development teams
  • Work in agile environment to deliver software of highest quality
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position or supporting similar responsibilities
  • Professional experience supporting commercial software development
  • Demonstrated experience building software in C++
  • C# and WPF programming experience
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases, and computer networks concepts
  • Ability to work closely with software developers, product engineers, and documentation writers to build quality commercial software
  • Demonstrated experience using agile methodologies for software development projects
  • Excellent problem solving, design, development, and debugging skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, data science, information systems or related field

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $114,400.00 - $187,200.00.
