Azure DevOps Engineer @ A & B Business Solutions - Pomona, CA

Our client is one of the Top Property Tax Servicing Companies in US. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be an essential part of multiple teams, that ensures that we have the infrastructure in place to efficiently and confidently take the product from design through the development process and into production. You will be responsible for using industry-standard tools and technologies to craft automated, efficient, and scalable processes that enable us to rapidly produce and release software. You will also investigate cutting-edge technologies and techniques to find better ways to meet the needs of our teams.

• Defining and setting development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
• Improve the scalability, efficiency and reliability of supporting environments.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipeline elements to provide automated compilation, assembly, and testing of containerized and non-containerized components.
• Collaborate with developers and other technologists in the engineering team to continuously improve the engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
• Debug production incidents across our services and at a variety of levels of the stack.
• Contribute to infrastructure as a code solution that can support hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Provide day to day support with code deployments, environment automation, and troubleshooting application and database issues.
• Release Planning & Coordination: Works with other members of their assigned Value Stream to ensure that the Production releases for their in scope applications/platforms are properly planned and coordinated. This includes Holds Change/Release implementation reviews to ensure thorough and appropriate implementation plans.
• Manage and maintain reliable environments for Business and QA testers.
• Collaborate with Dev, QA and other IT teams on software release activities.
• Document processes and maintain knowledge base articles in Confluence.
• Monitoring system metrics such as queue depth, Performance and Uptime.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Cloud Development experience (preferably with .Net and MVC).
• Expert in Azure Cloud Service Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes in Azure DevOps.
• Skill to utilize tools and services such as Terraform, Azure-DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, Shell/PowerShell scripting, Elastic Stack, AppDynamics/New Relic for alerting/monitoring, and troubleshooting them.
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• MUST be US Citizen or Green Card or H1B holder

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
