The responsibilities for this role may also span from Designing Avionic Flight Controls, Vehicle Operations, and Air Traffic Ground Support Systems. Be part of software that works down to the component level for split second operability.

Desired skills and experience:

• Embedded Software C and/or C++
• Ability to integrate software within a Linux Operating System
• Embedded real-time systems
• Document, Articulate and ensure Client Requirements, Development, Use Cases, Data flows, automated test methodology
• Integrating hardware and software within Agile Team
• Agile software tool chains, e.g. Git/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
• Python
• Safety/flight critical software development processes

(e.g. MIL-STD-516C, MIL-HDBK-1797, AC-17-01)

• Networking protocols (e.g. IP, UDP, RTP, etc.)
• Vehicle Management System (VMS) architectures
• Ability to build/maintain relationships, collaborate with others, and manage interpersonal dynamics
