Cimarron is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a large aerospace customer in Palmdale, CA. This position is supporting a 1-year contract. The selected candidate will support 4, 10 hour shifts with every Friday off!

Key Duties:

• Design power system architectures based on top-level requirements.
• Work on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing.
• Design, develop and integrate major aircraft electrical system components, including: Generators, Power Conditioning/Converting, Power Distribution, Batteries and Power Storage ,Wiring/routing.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
• Previous Aviation Electrical Power System experience.
• Spice Analysis experience.
• Systems engineering/management experience.
• Experience with generation/distribution of power.
• Bachelor's degree and 16 or more years of experience, or Master's degree and 14 or more years of experience.

• Active Special Program Access.
