Node API Lead Engineer

Roles/Responsibilities

• Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, nodejs

• Strong knowledge of go and Python

• Strong knowledge and understanding of data processing tools like apache airflow and data visualization tools

• Familiarity with multiple databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)

• Knowledge of React.js best practices and commonly used modules is a plus

• Building enterprise software or large scale web applications

• Strong knowledge of AWS, Terraform, CI/CD

Required Qualification

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Nodejs based API development

• Minimum 5 years of exp in JavaScript and Typescript implementations

• Strong knowledge of go and Python

• Strong knowledge of AWS, Terraform, CI/CD

• Strong knowledge and understanding of data processing tools like apache airflow and data visualization tools

• Familiarity with multiple databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)

• Experience with Express.js, Nest JS or other frameworks.

• Good understanding of API development REST/GraphQL (GraphQL is a strong plus)

• Some experience with relational/NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and components like EC2, Lambda, Step function etc.

• Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git, SVN or Mercurial

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript

• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently
