Role Overview
Fisker Inc. is searching for a Technical Architect, Digital
Product Engineering, to contribute to deliverables of the Digital
Product Engineering team. You will operate across the software lifecycle, from planning and architecture to development, testing and deployment. You will be responsible for developing/maintaining industry-leading consumer web applications and APIs/Microservices that will enhance
marketing initiatives, reservation/purchase/lease processes, and account/vehicle
management.
Responsibilities

Lead discovery, planning and definitions for new and current work streams

Perform technical evaluations of potential partners and tools

Lead discussions around architecture and development with other
engineering teams

Collaborate effectively and closely with UX Designers,
Front End and Back End Developers,
Product Managers, and
QA team to refine and improve the user experience
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
-
-
At least 3+ years owning and architecting
backend systems
-
Experience developing applications within multi cloud environment
-
Knowledge of object-oriented programming, databases, and caching
-
Hands-on expertise in developing, designing architecting applications
-
Knowledge of performance improvement techniques
-
Experience defining Cloud Infrastructure requirements and Capacity
Management
-
Experience with event-driven microservices and cloud architecture
-
Ability to perform benchmarking and optimization
-
Comfortable working in an
Agile/Scrum environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
Preferred Attributes/ Competencies
Expected Salary Range: $ 150,000.00-$ 220,000.00 a year
Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Frisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as
business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above
