Seeking the opportunity to build a game from scratch and create a global impact? Uncapped Games is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Site Reliability Engineer to join our new AAA team. The ideal candidate is well-versed in operating and improving distributed online systems, eager to automate & optimize repeatable tasks, and enjoys constantly learning. With your help, we will build the foundation to launch an all-new IP in our quest to redefine the RTS genre!

- Collaboratively design and implement infrastructure for a brand new fast-paced online RTS game.
- Implement key service solutions including logging, secrets management, and deployments.
- Collaborate with game development teams to execute release and live operations plans.
- Automate all the things - from deployments to testing, own the systems that reduce toil.
- Have the opportunity to flex into other areas of interest on the game development team.
Pluses: Experience establishing Service-Level Objectives for a live service game. Skills in Golang, C++, and/or C# programming languages. Experience designing and extending Kubernetes infrastructure. Experience securing systems at scale (e.g., SELinux, AppArmor, Nessus, and OpenVAS). Knowledge of networking and common diagnostic tools (e.g., tcpdump, WireShark, and netcat). Experience working with Unity3D or Unreal. Excitement for new tech trends.
Location State(s)
The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $78,100 to $249,700 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
