JOB SUMMARY:

Assist the Workplace Technology team with various initiatives focused on the organization, automation, optimization, and user adoption of collaboration applications. Identify opportunities with existing systems and processes where collaboration tools can greatly improve ways of working across the organization. Understand where Collaboration IT intersects with various lines of business (HR, Finance, etc) to enhance the employee experience for both new and existing staff.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Modernize workplace technology and tools, leveraging existing software (e.g., Microsoft 365 E5) and introducing new capabilities, processes, and innovation across the collaboration landscape.
  • Provide design/engineering/project leadership on new/upgraded collaboration projects.
  • Provide/Lead engineering and technical input to create, maintain, and implement collaboration engineering standards.
  • Build & Deploy enterprise-grade solutions in Microsoft Modern work stack including SharePoint Online, PowerPlatform, Viva, & Teams.
  • Automate tasks leveraging Power Platform or other related technologies like Workato, Boomi, etc.
  • Ability to drive user adoption and persuade users to embrace newer technology, processes, and change.
  • Leads and contributes to the architectural design, development, customization, and integration efforts of all Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Create dashboards using PowerBI to better utilize metrics and KPIs to identify areas of focus and increased adoption and training.
  • Continually examine and understand M365 and Collaboration, File Share, and Workflow technologies, practices, and processes within the bank, identifying areas of improvement or opportunity.
  • Conduct meetings and workshops with various stakeholders to understand current state, provide recommendations and outline solutions to their business needs.
  • Lead workshops, webinars, etc. to showcase opportunities for a hybrid/remote workforce to stay engaged and connected. Partner with Communications Manager to develop strategies for improved user engagement leveraging collaboration technologies.
  • Provide management and oversight to our AV and Video integrators/partners and employees on collaboration projects.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with the Microsoft stack (M365).
  • Strong knowledge or experience using SharePoint Framework.
  • At least 3 project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of Microsoft Technologies including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Viva Connections, Power Platform (i.e., Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents), Yammer, and other workloads.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • UI/UX design experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing, and presenting technical documents.
  • Knowledge of Identity Providers & Identity Management solutions like AzureAD, Okta, etc.
  • Experience with Video Conferencing/AV integration design, engineering, installation, support and management a plus.
