PhD/MSc in computer science
/ physics / mathematics / engineering
5-10 years academic or industry experience in signal processing + real-time AI/ML
Domain specific knowledge of either brain-computer interface technology
, speech recognition, computer vision, biometrics, or time-series analysis.
Track record of exemplary scientific or engineering
achievements and publications.
Love of leading teams working on hard problems in machine-learning, AI, modeling.
Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow
, MLlib, Caffe
, Torch, or Theano, and hands-on coding competence in Python
or other modern language.
Experience with transfer learning, deep learning, autoencoders, reinforcement learning, wavelet analysis, adaptive filtering, and classifier ensembles.
Practical experience hiring and managing teammates in building reliable, high-performance machine-learning systems including experience writing and managing production code according to best practices.
Knowledge of brain activity measurement technologies.
