We are seeking a Deep Learning Data Engineer to lead design, development, management, deployment and maintenance of infrastructure that performs on our ML-based virtual diagnostic platform. This position is ideal for an individual with medical imaging / video data infrastructure experience. The Data Engineer will play a substantial role in the development of the next generation ML-histopathology. Requirements for the Data Engineer: BS in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable experience Mission-driven and passionate about building technology that will ultimately improve patient care Ability to work in a dynamic environment and hold ambiguity, navigating and communicating short and long term goals and trade-offs. 2+ years of professional software development experience with exposure to a diverse set of medical imaging / video data. Experience with medical device data compliance preferred Responsibilities of the Data Engineer: Hands-on, high-impact contribution to a major evolution of data systems as we prepare for the next magnitude of scale and prepare to build products that work on more advanced staining and synergy with additional imaging devices. You’ll work on a variety of imaging systems, and software platforms for deep learning data pipelines to power training of our ML models (~10^7 images, tens of Terbaytes of data), for building a unique technology, helping improve patient care.
