Applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Developer

Work you'll do:

Architect, position, design, develop, and deploy enterprise solutions including chatbots, conversational AI, machine learning, and cognitive services (e.g. vision and image; textual and language processing).

Implement large scale data ecosystems.

Leverage autonomous and cognitive techniques to manage data, predict scenarios, and prescribe actions.

Work with the Product Owners to design and develop ML algorithms through the development cycle.

Support Product Management in driving coordination across Deloitte groups related to dependencies or impacts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Empirical Statistics, Business, equivalent field, or at least 4 years in an equivalent professional experience.

3+ years of experience in a product management role for software, analytics, and/or SaaS-based products.
-
2+ years of experience developing artificial intelligence or machine learning solutions, combating business problems, as a machine learning engineer, data engineer, or similar role.

Experience in Python machine and deep learning frameworks and libraries, e.g. PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn, Numpy, SciPy
-
Understanding of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.) and cloud-native development principles
-
2+ years of experience working with quantitative modeling
-
2+ years of experience using statistical computer languages (Python, SQL, R, SAS, etc.) to prepare data for analysis, visualize data as part of exploratory analysis, generate features, and other similar data science driven data handling.

Experience working with an engineering organization to define applications and manage them through the entire product lifecycle.

Ability to travel up to 25%, based on the work you do and clients/sectors you serve.
Preferred Skills:

MBA and other advanced degrees, a plus.

Experience writing modular code and conducting unit/integration tests prior to production deployment.

Experience deploying and maintaining a ML solution in a production environment

Well-developed judgment and problem-solving skills

Highly collaborative and the ability to lead by influence

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS, Visio, MS PowerPoint)

Ability to manage competing priorities across a matrixed group of stakeholders

Experience architecting, designing, developing and deploying enterprise solutions which include components across the Artificial Intelligence spectrum such as NLP, Chatbots, Virtual Assistants, Computer Vision, and Cognitive Services

Experience designing and implementing Apache Open Source (Kafka, Storm, Spark) frameworks to process end to end data management life cycle

Familiarity with Scala, Java, C++, or other similar technological support languages

Javascript experience at User Interface (UI) level

business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $189,000.
