Job Description Summary

The Administrative Assistant will have responsibilities in different areas including front desk duties and accounting support processes.

Essential Duties

Commercial Support- 35%
  • Facilitate Inbound Call traffic
  • Support Lead Generation Platforms for OSR/ Commercial Teams
  • Participate in ongoing Commercial Project Pipeline as necessary
  • Support Weekly Inbound call analytics to proactively improve customer relationships
  • Support Project Leads in Sales Order Creation and Data Maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Operations Support-65%
  • Support purchase order receiving across Great Plains Network of plants
  • Proactively resolve vendor receiving issues
  • Maintain proper paperwork retention policy in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Support Great Plains plant management with the OPC related spend
  • Support and Manage Inventory Level of stock Items across Great Plains
  • Review Open PO log to ensure PO’s are received timely/accurately and raise escalations as necessary.
  • Support the Administration of raw material cost in ERP.
  • With support of Plant Accountants review GRNI monthly and resolve issues.
  • Work with Project Leads and Operations on Tracking and facilitation of Special Order Items.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and staff at various organizational levels
  • Self-starter with cheerful personality and positive attitude
  • Working knowledge of AP, PO, and Excel
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet scheduled deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook and other software applications
  • Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, and listening skills
  • Should be comfortable working independently and in a team environment
  • Safety conscience


  • 2- 3 years prior accounting/operational transactional experience
