As part of our Common Cloud Platform - AVEVA Connect, you’ll collaborate with a team of skilled software developers in designing and implementing of Azure architectures and solutions. You’ll act as an expert and trusted advisor who provides guidance for transforming legacy implementations to the cloud. This varied role will see you work closely with clients, partners and other internal teams to ensure consulting engagements are successful. Key Responsibilities: Acts as an effective technical mentor for one or more junior developers Design, develop and implement AVEVA solutions on Microsoft Azure Collaborate with other architects and engineers to ensure our clients have infrastructure, database or data storage solutions that meet their business, security, and service level requirements Continuously evaluate and validate system design and architecture with risk analysis and the creation of mitigation strategies Produce as-built documentation and materials Plans projects that best use team resources available while delivering a product that meets AVEVA's standards Considers both technical and business needs when planning development work Ideal Experience: Previous experience with designing and developing software in major programming languages such as C++, C#/.NET technologies, or Node.JS. Good understanding of Cloud Service Architecture, preferably in Azure. Past ownership and delivery of multiple mission-critical, high complexity products or services with a large impact on both the organization’s business and technical direction Experience implementing and supporting cloud solutions, preferably using Azure Experience with CI/CD tools and processes Great skills to have: Organization: The pace at AVEVA can be exciting and fast, so whilst you will need excellent time management and effective prioritisation, we will do all we can to support a balanced portfolio of work, and your wellbeing.
