About the Job:
The Software
Engineering III is responsible for building serverless, and container-based microservices. As part of a team that builds
innovative software that is deployed on the edge and microservices for the cloud, you will support the next-gen of omnichannel digital systems. This role is part of a critical chain of order fulfillment systems that get amazing Taco Bell food to our customers.
The Day-to-Day:
Design and build software solutions using
AWS Serverless technologies in
TypeScript,
JavaScript, and
Python.
Design and build software solutions using
NodeJS for edge devices
Collaborate with software architects, other software engineers,
QA, SRE/production support, and
product teams to clarify requirements and implement robust systems.
Participate in
Agile Scrum activities such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retros.
Perform peer code reviews and participate in software
design sessions
Is This You?
Bachelor's Degree in
Engineering,
Computer Science, or a technical discipline; or equivalent years of experience
At least 3 years of experience as a software
developer using
TypeScript and
Python
At least 2 years of experience with
AWS serverless cloud computing including
Lambda, EventBridge/EventBus, APIGW, Dynamodb, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, and Route53
Experience with GitLab required
Experience with
AWS CDK /
AWS SAM / Serverless Framework required
The ability to exhibit strong communication qualities and to effectively partner with all of IT as well as our
business operations teams.

Salary Range $98,400 to $148,830 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
