Briviant Inc. is a rapidly growing tech company looking for people who are passionate about technology. We have an immediate opening for a Software Developer with a Node (Javascript) and Angular focus. This person is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of all phases of the web development life cycle. The role requires a technical background with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience and the ability to communicate with all levels of the corporate structure. The ideal candidate is committed to lifelong learning, possessing the ability to apply their technical knowledge, skills and experience to solve complex/real-world problems.

This job is open to remote/work from home in the State of California.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Designing and implement responsive, functional and appealing web and mobile applications
• Optimizing application for high performance and scalability
• Interpreting graphic visual or interactive designs in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility
• Writing functional requirement documents and specifications
• Creating quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines
• Participating in research, technology/tool evaluation, and proof of concepts
• Maintaining graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
• Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Comfortable with front-end and back-end development

Desired Skill Sets & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Web Developer
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field
• Very proficient in Node and Angular
• Experience in secure shell scripting
• Previous server experience a plus
• Previous API development a plus
• Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
• Requires extensive interaction in all phases of the web development life cycle as well as engagement of customer needs and business strategy
• Experience in optimizing performance metrics and UI/UX design
• Experience in unit testing

Salary: Depending on Experience
