You’ll have an opportunity to shape, define, and implement the Go-to-Market Strategy as you develop and evolve the Fleet Charging value proposition and establish effective product-line positioning. As a key member of our Fleet & Transit Team, you will be able to leverage your strong technical strategic marketing and product management skills and capabilities to take a rapid-growth electric fleet charging business to unprecedented heights! ***This is a remote based position in the continental U.S.; preferred home base locations are in the Irvine, CA, Richmond, VA or Atlanta, GA metro-areas***

Your responsibilities

  • Create and formalize opportunities to meet and learn from fleet customers about their unique applications and challenges; Develop feedback loop with Product Management, R&D and other internal teams to share learnings
  • Conduct competitor analysis for product/solutions relevant to the light commercial vehicle Fleet Charging segment
  • Support product roadmap planning and business case development for fleet product enhancements, new features and strengthening of the value proposition as needed
  • Lead the market introduction / launch of products within the Fleet segment
  • Design marketing campaigns and develop content for the campaigns and the overall sales cycle, including white papers, customer testimonials, webinars, website content, sales presentations, etc
  • Consolidate market intelligence from internal and external resources and completes analysis related to market trends and forecasting
  • Collaborate closely with the communications team in developing exceptional product and segment promotional materials
  • Monitor ABB sales and market globally and reports results that identify existing gaps and new opportunities for growth
  • Define and implement product and segment training strategy in combination with training team
  • Establish competency / training metrics for sales team
  • Participate in trade shows and events related to the fleet transportation industry

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing or in a related Engineering technical field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Business Development or Product Management; preferably with experience in the Electric Transportation, EV Charging, or with the light commercial vehicle fleet industry
  • In lieu of having a degree, 8 or more years of experience in a directly related product marketing role will be considered; Master’s degree a plus
  • Must have ability to think strategically and analytically about markets, segment, product, and technical challenges
  • Must be comfortable working as an individual contributor in a highly visible, fast paced and collaborative global work environment
  • Direct experience developing product roadmaps, and delivering on well-planned go-to-market strategies is required
  • Must have capability and high interest to learn about high-level technical concepts relevant to E-mobility and the industry’s customer challenges with the ability to translate concepts to customer-facing value proposition(s)
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple functions and groups is required, while confidently leading projects and working collaboratively with our sales teams and product managers
  • Ability to prioritize activities which deliver highest KPI results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English, along with strong presentation and leadership skills are required; must have advanced proficiency in MS Office 365
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
