Senior Software Engineer
Envana - Houston, TX
As a Senior Software Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex software applications, systems, and solutions. You will work closely with the development team and stakeholders to analyze requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver high-quality software products that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test high-quality software solutions in a collaborative team environment
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure product features are delivered on time
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure adherence to coding best practices
- Build and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using modern software development methodologies and tools
- Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to standards
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to recommend new tools and techniques to improve the development process
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of software solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, .NET, PHP, Golang, Python, C#, or Ruby
- Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of software design patterns, architecture, and system integration Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience with enterprise scale AWS, Azure, or GCP secure cloud implementations
- 5+ years experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Experience with data processing and storage technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, or Big Data platforms
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience. In addition to a base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and more.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
