SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

MISSION INTEGRATION ENGINEER, AVIONICS

The National Security Space Launch (NSSL) team at SpaceX is charged with leading the successful execution of our partnership and contractual agreements with the US Government to successfully launch national security missions. This close-knit group serves as the main interface between the relevant Space Force customers and internal company-wide SpaceX teams. The NSSL team is also responsible for maintaining certification of the Falcon family of launch vehicles, providing fleet insight to our government customers, and successfully integrating and safely delivering Government payloads to orbit. Our work enables SpaceX to be the premier domestic provider of National Security Space missions.

On this team, you will serve as the main interface between the SpaceX technical teams and our external stakeholders. You will ensure SpaceX's designs, test plans and qualification campaigns result in mature launch systems in which our Government customer can place utmost confidence to launch their most sensitive, complex and critical payloads. You will focus on avionics systems (including command & control, navigation, sensors, communications, electrical power, and flight termination), flight and ground software systems, and the guidance, navigation and control of the launch vehicle. You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance of challenging mission-specific requirements and providing an overall positive customer experience.
