  • Fabricate and assemble high quality, high reliability electromechanical assemblies and transducers
  • Read, interpret and work from drawings as well as from controlled documentation and processes
  • Perform verifications of flight hardware and documenting results in a clear, precise and complete manner
  • Create and review test code for automated acceptance testing
  • Respond to production related non-conformances (both deviation and non-deviation), drive to root cause and disposition according to manufacturing policies
  • Implement corresponding corrective action plans
  • Maintain Process Planning documents and action technician feedback
  • Update designs and processes when necessary in response to manufacturing issues, parts obsolescence, and system requirement changes
  • Drive lean projects to improve the manufacturing process to eliminate waste, reduce cost and improve yield
  • Optimize product flow through the factory
  • Review drawings and technical data packages for manufacturability, provide constructive feedback to engineering/design community
  • Assist in maintenance and calibration activities for automated acceptance testing hardware
  • Assist with the development of production processes for first time production runs
  • Work with engineers to create 2D drawings from existing 3D models, applying established drawing specifications and standards
  • Work with engineers to make updates to existing 3D models, applying established modeling processes and standards


  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 4+ years of experience working in electronic assembly and/or test production environment


  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering
  • Demonstrated professional experience providing engineering and manufacturing support for the production of highly complex electronic products
  • Experience designing tooling in a manufacturing environment
  • Capable of solving complex manufacturing problems with little to no supervision on schedule as an individual or as a member of an integrated team
  • Experience applying Six-Sigma, Kaizen and 5S techniques to the manufacturing floor


  • Must be able to travel up to 10 percent (to outside vendors)
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime and/or weekends as required
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Must be able to distinguish colors
