  • Remove parts from packaging, inspect for damage, and store piece parts to specific locations for all hardware

  • Maintain part and project staging areas keeping them clean and organized

  • Manage floor stock by putting in requests for inventory (RFIs) with inventory and moving parts to the designated locations. Maintain cycle counts of inventory

  • Coordinate and keep track of outgoing materials and finished goods to ensure on time delivery to their final destination

  • Maintain weekly visibility on part shortages

  • Interface with the planning team to resolve logistical hold factors inhibiting materials acquisition for work orders

  • Maintain an extremely high standard of cleanliness in the shop area


  • High school diploma or equivalency certification

  • 1+ years of professional experience working in a manufacturing environment


  • Professional experience in an aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing environment/setting

  • Strong computer and analytical skills including proficiency in spreadsheets, shop floor management software and inventory management software

  • Creative and passionate approach to addressing opportunities and challenges, and an enthusiastic, self-motivated, positive can-do attitude that relishes in delivering best-in-class performance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working with RFIs and RFPs

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Experience operating forklifts and cranes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for relaying data between vendors, customers, and other employees

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as alone with minimal supervision

  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while maintaining a high sense of urgency in a high-paced, challenging work environment


  • Ability to maintain certification for pallet/all-terrain forklifts

  • Valid driver's license

  • Physical effort including standing, lifting, and carrying light to moderately heavy materials or equipment

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted

  • Available for overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required

  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb ladders and work in tight spaces
