Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The candidate will be responsible for support of the platform that enables cloud-based mobile payments. You will work on the APIs, business flows that are integrated by Digital wallets as well as responsible for ensuring they are highly available for our clients. Visa’s Software Engineers develop the world’s best payment solutions. We provide our engineers with the latest tools to develop world-class payment products. We pair this with an architecture that supports massive scalability and access to the world’s strongest payment network. This position is based in Foster City, CA and will report to the Director of VTS Production Engineering. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support web applications in a production environment. Build an understanding of Visa’s large backend and various sub systems that enable Visa tokenization services. Enhance, utilize and build monitoring tools and capabilities Influence application teams to build more supportable applications. Develop close working relationships with members of teams within the organization This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) Preferred Qualifications: 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) Major computer science, computer engineering or related field required. large scale systems.
