Niyam IT is seeking User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team in Washington, DC in support of our work with FEMA. May occasionally need to work on site approximately one day per month.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end journey of a user's interaction with a product is complete and documented.

• Conduct user research through interviews, observations and other research methods;
• Recommend ways to capture data about the Customer Experience (CS) and assist with developing CX improvements
• Identify measurement tools to help demonstrate CX improvements

• Use tools like Mural, Dovetail, Optimal Workshop, Figma, Productboard for user research and design

• Analyze the process of collecting and evaluating data about how users are experiencing and interacting with Salesforce.
• Using data analytics to help enhance the user experience.

• May travel on location occasionally

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Proof of US Citizenship and eligibility to apply for a Public Trust Clearance

• Master’s Degree or higher and/or 10 years of experience.
• At least five years experience as a User Experience Analyst, User Experience Designer, User Experience Researcher, Product designer, or Content Strategist
• Experience with User Experience technologies like Mural, Dovetail, Optimal Workshop, Figma, Productboard
• Salesforce experience is preferred
