We want you to help us grow Pure Life Chiropractic in Lane County!
As the Front Desk here, you are the “Face” of the practice. You have the privilege of setting the standard of caring, kindness, and excitement that each patient’s experience with our clinic should have EVERY TIME. You are the first impression of what our standards are. You’ll help patients understand how the commitment they make to our chiropractic process changes not just bodies, but lives and ways of living. You’ll partner with our doctors to ensure compliance with the unique plans of care for each patient.
Because our process is different from most chiropractic clinics ,we will fully train you. In return, we ask you to stay with us for at least 5 years.
Main duties include:
  • Greeting every person who enters the clinic with cheerfulness
  • Scheduling in advance as per the doctors recommendations
  • Ensuring the patients complete all the recommended therapies while in the clinic
  • Communicating with all doctors and the rehab team when patients arrive or where they are in the clinic - You direct the flow of traffic!
  • Processing payments to accounts and answering basic billing questions
  • Managing patients' files: Filing and obtaining details to keep accurate and up to date information
You are responsible for creating a welcoming, friendly, and calm environment for patients, as well as being as efficient as possible to ensure that all patient needs are met. As a role that directly impacts the ability of others to carry out their job, it’s important that the Front Desk is able to use the technology and software required, and is able to adapt and respond to business and patient needs.
We work as a team. Time to time it will be necessary to help by:
  • Maintaining an orderly work area
  • Verifying insurance
  • Laundering sheets/ hydro bed covers used in the office
  • Maintaining Hydro beds, Arthrostim, Vibrocussor, iPads for Posture assessments, exam tools, and Chiropractic tables
Front Desk Requirements:
This position requires strong verbal communication skills. You will be interacting with many personality types. High social acuity is needed to help patients feel safe and comfortable. Other requirements are:
  • Show excitement and enthusiasm to be here
  • Be clear and concise with both patients and colleagues
  • Have a proven track record for job attendance and high ratings from previous supervisors
  • The ability to initiate projects, have strong time management skills, and complete certain tasks within specific timeframes.
  • be able to manage multiple tasks at once, to think critically and organize both themselves and an office
  • Consistently show up with a positive attitude geared towards working as a teammate

  • Keep detailed progress notes on what is said and done in the office in regard to our patients or the current responsibilities pertaining to your role in the office. ( i.e. checklists, regular summary of tasks, updating systems as they evolve)
  • The ability to follow through on tasks that you are responsible for, if you say that you will complete a task, you are solely responsible for the successful completion of that task
  • Correct use of Chiropractic related topics within our front office
  • The ability to keep personal vs. professional related topics separate from the workplace
  • To confidently articulate sensitive information to patients, as well as spend time comforting patients if they are distressed. Patients in the practice could experience adverse symptoms, and therefore you must treat them with respect and empathy.,
  • They must also prioritise customer service in all situations, and have the confidence to “make things right”
