Job Summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with strong Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux expertise, programming, and automation skills. You will be part of the Spacelift Telemetry Acquisition and Reporting System (STARS) team providing mission assurance support for National Security Space (NSS) missions. You will also be part of the Computational Services team that oversees server and storage platforms for the Aerospace Corporation which provides the backbone of the STARS data analytics platform. The team oversees thousands of computing systems both on-premises as well as in the cloud. We work with rocket scientists and engineers to develop cutting edge solutions to complex space enterprise problems for critical national space assets. In your role, you will maintain Kubernetes clusters, supporting our engineers and scientists to build and operate our STARS data analysis platform. You will be working and collaborating with other cross-functional team members who all have a strong sense of shared responsibility and ownership.
