Scott & White Medical Center-Uptown is currently seeking a Physical Therapy Technician in the Therapy Services Department for full-time opportunity. The Therapy “on the job” trained healthcare provider, works under the direct supervision of the Therapy Services Director and other staff therapists to assist with patient care.
Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Clerical responsibilities and departmental housekeeping

  • Data Management

  • Assisting Therapists with all patient care as assigned

  • Assisting with organizing/assigning the staffing assignments for the Therapists in the Pre-Op, PACU and PSU

  • Managing the equipment needs of the patients

Required Skills


Position required skills for the Physical Therapy Technician include:


  • Previous experience preferred but not required

  • Current BLCS certification

  • Efficient with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English

  • Ability to follow directions and multi-task

  • Strong Organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Must have the flexibility to work weekends as well when needed
