Job Description In this role, you’ll be leading data engineering teams working on our Ascend Platform to develop the next generation Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops) capabilities for our clients to develop and deploy their ML models at scale and integrate them seamlessly with our other Ascend product offering. You’ll be managing data at scale and will be working on different ML frameworks written in a wide variety of languages such as Python, R & SAS. Your team will work on key strategic initiatives to accelerate the development, training, testing and deployment of models for clients while providing self-service intuitive UI to build feature Engineering, Accelerator Apps, Model Manager for model onboarding, testing, versioning, promotion and model monitoring. You will be responsible for building data pipelines at scale for our batch clients and integrating with 3rd party providers for our real time clients. Additional responsibilities include: Provide technical direction to the team based on the product roadmap Guide the design, building and launching of new data models and data pipelines in production Partner with product management/data infra/customer teams to build shared goals Build relationships with Data Scientists, Product Managers and Software Engineers to understand data needs for modeling Drive data quality across the product vertical and related business areas Manage the delivery of insightful dashboards and data visualizations Establish KPIs for platform performance and SLA’s for all data sets and processes running in production Qualifications At least 4-5 years of management experience in a high-performing, large-scale technology company Experience developing teams that work on large scale data infrastructure in an Agile environment Minimal technical requirements: Cloud experience (AWS preferred); Programming languages such as Java, Scala or Python; Big data technologies – Hadoop, Spark, Kafka etc. Strong background in object oriented programming using Java, Spring, and Microservices in a serverless AWS environment. Experience working on both real-time and batch processing data pipelines Experience developing ML Ops capabilities is a huge plus Data Science & ML experience is a plus DevOps Knowledge: Docker and Kubernetes Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
