Application Engineer @ DT Professional Services - Corona, CA

DT Professional Services is currently seeking an Application Engineer to support our Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division (NSWC Corona) Acquisition Readiness customer in Norco, California. The programmer will be responsible for supporting the Material Readiness Assessment Information Systems at Naval Surface Warfare Center (Corona). Information assurance support will form an important part of the responsibilities. As a developer on this project, you will be part of a team of developers supporting an enterprise application. The ability to identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues is important in all aspects of this role. As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor, and staying focused on the assigned tasks. On-site work is required for this position.

• Experience deploying MATLAB applications on Red Hat OpenShift

• Experience reading legacy code
• Experience with object-oriented design and memory management

• Experience developing and deploying to MATLAB Production Server
• Understanding on using GPU resources for deep learning, ETL, and simulations through Simulink

• Migration from single thread to multi-thread application development

• Experience with data flow development and implementation

• Experience with application interfacing with Data Lake platform
• Integrating MATLAB code with HDFS Data Lake

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience: 3- 5 years
• Education: College Graduate (Bachelors)
• Previous Program - C++, Python, C#
• Operating System - Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Database – PostgreSQL DBMS
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

The compensation range for this position: $38.00/hr - $48.00/hr
