Full Stack Developer II @ DataDelivers LLC - Schaumburg, IL

Job Description:

Full Stack Developer II collaborates with other developers and engineers on the Product Strategy & Technology team to craft and shape solutions that deliver a high level of value for our company and its’ clients. This position requires a keen grasp of modern web technologies and a knack for understanding complex issues and finding creative ways to tackle them.

The Full Stack Developer II works with other team members in creating innovative and impactful web applications by leveraging both front-end and back-end frameworks. They proactively follow and contribute to the teams coding and programming standards and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a SME for systems worked on. Ensures DataDelivers’s web programs are using the latest APIs, web services, and code versions.
• Partner with offshore team to design, develop and deploy immersive and impactful web solutions for mission critical business processes.
• Actively listen to and work with end users and clients to gather requirements, and make suggestions and solutions.
• Adhere and contribute to the quality standards agreed to by the team and actively support the importance of principles of best practice web design and development.
• Maintain proper documentation for websites, web apps and other systems.
• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed and innovation in a fun work environment while continuously elevating the quality and caliber of the overall web development organization.
• Provide insight and information regarding how organizational policies, hardware changes, or market changes will affect web sites and applications.
• Work closely with other developers to conduct peer reviews, make suggestions, and share knowledge.
• Communicate changes and change impact to other developers and escalates issues appropriately.
• Troubleshoots web problems. Address user's inquiries concerning operation and performance. Recommends or performs remedial actions to correct problems.
• Research problems, plans solutions, recommend systems changes, and coordinates with other development team members to meet business requirements.

Required Experience:

• • Successful resources will have 5 years of solid UI / UX experience.
  • Hands-on experience building user interfaces specifically with react.js.
  • Hands-on expertise in the majority of the following but not limited to Amazon Web Services: Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, Step, HUDI, and SES.
  • Solid experience with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML 5 and CSS3).
  • Proven experience with and and/or interest in API driven Single Page Instance application frameworks like React, Angular, node.js, and other emerging standards.
  • Solid experience with website frameworks such as WordPress or Drupal
  • Demonstrated expertise with design, build and deploy front-end customer facing solutions in cloud landscape such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with server side technologies like PHP and Python a must and Java a solid plus.
  • Experience with designing and implementing RESTful JSON based APIs
  • Working knowledge of web and cloud security frameworks and technologies
  • Keen understanding of SQL and NOSQL database implementation with DBs like DynamoDB, MongoDB, Databricks, PostgreSQL, Redshift, etc. highly desired.
  • Hands-on experience with BI platforms such as Qlik, PowerBI, etc. highly desired.
  • Solid DevOps experience including Agile, Scrum, Version Control, Automated Testing, and Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment (CI / CD) huge plus. Experience with Bitbucket, GitHub or Jenkins required.
  • Familiarity with deployment packages such as Maven, NPM, etc.
  • Expertise in tools for UI / UX testing including AB testing.
  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams and people from different disciplines.
