Senior .NET Software Engineer Opportunity:

The Senior .NET Software Engineer will be an integral member of GLI’s Information Technology Team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of GLI’s RFID Accu-traq and SCANopy software, using multiple programming languages and tools. The successful candidate will collaborate cross functionally within GLI, learning all aspects of the business and products, as well as dealing directly with our vendors and customers.

Software Engineer Related Tasks:

  • Enhance and maintain GLI’s RFID Accu-traq and SCANopy software
  • Document system functionality and processes for internal and customer-facing documents
  • Assist in setup and calibration of RFID antennas
  • Install and set up software installations for Customers
  • Collaborate tasks with teammates and contractors using DevOps
  • Maintain GLI’s Azure and DevOps environment
  • Execute SQL queries for reporting and data manipulation



A Senior .NET Software Engineer must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and shift gears quickly and effectively where needed. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator both internally, and with our external customers and vendors. He/she must be able to improve processes and document processes effectively. As GLI is looking to advance and grow, the software developer also must be able to adapt to new requirements and see change as a growth opportunity.

Core Skills Required (8-10 years experience preferred):

  • Strong programming experience with lead responsibilities in C#, .NET software engineering.
  • Proficiency in database design, T-SQL programming, and performance tuning experience, especially with load balancing and cloud scaling.
  • Experience in agile software development, TDD, and continuous improvement.
  • Skilled at providing detailed analysis to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong Azure knowledge and experience with cloud-based software architecture and best practices
  • Experience designing and deploying applications in a cloud-based environment Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with security concepts and implementation.
  • Front-end experience and comfort with making general UI updates or addressing issues with existing web front end
