Senior Vice President Engineering

Qualifications and Requirements

· Minimum 10 years experience in high voltage systems engineering within renewables industry or related

· Minimum 5 years leadership and management experience in energy storage product systems design

· In depth knowledge and direct experience in various battery technologies, advanced power electronics, mechanical engineering, and energy storage system architecture engineering

· Good working knowledge of product development and project management process best practices

· Understanding and proficiency of local jurisdiction requirements, fire code, UL, NFPA, and other regulations etc.

· Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills

· Strong current network of contacts within the relevant hardware and software community

Responsibilities

· Responsible for overall technical development of Smartville’s product platform

· Providing technical guidance to engineering teams and top management

· Implementing best practice engineering methods

· Supporting established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies

· Presenting budget and plans, and finding and implementing ways to improve cost efficiency

· Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders

· Leading research and development projects that produce innovative designs, products, and processes

· Organize and manage projects, making detailed plans that work towards the fulfillment of a set objective

· Direct, evaluate, and confirm product design and changes

· Making determinations for equipment, staff, and training needs

· Hiring and supervising staff

· Checking their team’s work for technical accuracy

· Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the organization

· Regular reporting to top management

Our company is seeking a Senior Vice President with at least six years of experience in the information technology field. The Senior Vice President is responsible for implementing and managing projects and programs from beginning to end. An individual in this position will be responsible for regularly communicating with managers and executives regarding progress and must be able to identify problems before they occur.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $155,561.00 - $177,276.00 per year
