As a Sr. QA Engineer you will be part of a growing Digital Engineering team focusing on commerce platform & digital facing functions. You will be responsible for developing test cases, testing, and validating bugs and features that have been delivered. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, self-driven, excellent understanding of the SDLC and exposure to eCommerce or similar high volume / traffic applications.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work closely with Product, Dev and QA Manager to confirm acceptance criteria/requirements and establish clear pass/fail criteria.
• Provide high-level test estimates for conceptual evaluation as well as detailed estimates and tasks for QA activities as scope becomes more defined.
• Author test strategies/test plans & test cases, complete requirement/defect to test case traceability matrices, conduct peer reviews, facilitate tactical execution, log/troubleshoot/resolve defects, mitigate risks/resolve issues and track/report progress.
• Maintain and ensure test environment, code deployment and data integrity to ensure accurate foundations for testing activities.
• Define, manage and meet project schedules; prioritize/work multiple tasks across multiple projects and keep manager & leadership informed.
• Define and drive the implementation of quality practice improvement initiatives and standards.
• Systematically reduce technical debt within the QA Engineering practice such as developing detailed test cases documenting all system functionality in a prioritized test case repository, establishing regression and end to end test suites, documenting standards and templates and more.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of functional aspects of the business applications and product functionality to perform testing.
• Mentor/train junior QA engineers.
• Work closely with automation engineers to avoid gaps in automated testing.

• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in testing high volume web applications (preferably eCommerce).
• Experience in test strategies/test plans creation and authoring & executing test cases.
• Experience in testing high volume/traffic web applications with a headless implementation.
• Experience in testing APIs.
• Experience in testing, measuring and tracking website performance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage priorities.
• Experience in managing & communicating risks/status upward & outward.
• Experience working within fast paced rapidly growing company.
• Experience in building partnerships and working collaboratively across the organization.
• Experience using data and analytics to make data-driven decisions a plus.
• Exposure to writing SQL queries and analyzing data.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and tooling (Selenium, Cypress etc.).
• Exposure to Shopify eCommerce platform is a plus.

Pay Range: From $85,000 - $95,000 annually
