Instacart is looking for a highly analytical and strategic business leader to own our consumer pricing strategy, innovating on how delivery and pickup of online groceries are priced. You'll coordinate a large cross-functional team to develop and implement pricing strategies to help accelerate Instacart's revenue growth and improve our margins.


  • You will work with the company's executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives around pricing

  • You will collaborate with our Finance, Data Science, Product, Engineering, Business Development, Legal, Research and Economist teams

  • You will build an exceptional team of pricing analysts

  • You will develop insights and recommendations through customer segmentation, price discovery, testing & experimentation, and ROI analyses

  • You will work with teams at Instacart to drive the operational implementation of pricing

  • You will monitor key metrics and market intelligence to derive insights and identify opportunities for evolving pricing


  • 10-15 years of pricing experience

  • Able to identify and develop solutions to complex problems from a strategic, operational and customer perspective

  • Strong leader with proven ability to build and lead teams

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; able to pose complex strategic decisions for executives with clarity and precision

  • Deep experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Sales/BD, Marketing, and Strategy

  • B.S., M.S. in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance or MBA
