PRAM is seeking an experienced software developer to join our team. PRAM provides comprehensive prescription benefits, custom plan designs, underwriting, PBM interface, plan administration, and auditing & consulting services.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C# (4+ years)
• ASP.NET WebForms (4+ years)
• .NET (4+ years)
• Knowledge of relational databases, experience in writing efficient SQL queries, views, stored procedures.
• SQL Server database design work, table design, primary & foreign keys, etc.
• Proficiency in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js framework.
• Website development experience using modern web methods and tools is a plus (e.g. gulp).
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.
• Testing and Debugging: Understanding different testing methodologies and frameworks, as well as experience in debugging and troubleshooting code. Error and exception reporting.
• Understanding and implementing secure coding practices to write robust and resilient code that is less susceptible to common vulnerabilities. Awareness of industry security standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.

Required Background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Data Science or Computer Information Systems desired. Perfect written and spoken English.
• Good communication skills.
• Familiarity with the various stages of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• 5+ years overall experience in a paid software developer role. Must be a full-stack developer and understand concepts of software engineering.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Easy to work with. Friendly, accepts direction well.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
• Familiarity with integrating security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including secure requirements gathering, threat modeling, secure design, secure coding, security testing, and security incident response.

Daily Activities

• Help develop and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET, 3rd party libraries, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Server database objects and structures.
• Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
• Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software.
• Update software programs to refine components like cybersecurity measures and data storage capacities.
• Test and deploy programs and applications.
• Support operations and their usage of the core applications.
• Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
