You Are:

An experienced, results-oriented, Technical Software Solutions Architect with proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise grade data applications.

The Opportunity :

• Design and architect fit for purpose solutions for UST IQ customers
• Scope new engagements and implementations
• Guide Product and Services teams on new implementations
• Build and Own Technical and Deployment architecture diagrams
• Anchor InfoSec and Technical Architecture Review Board meetings
  

What you need :

• At least 15 years strong hands-on Java skills developing and deploying enterprise grade applications
• Hands on experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions.
• Experience in enterprise data modeling including OLAP and dimensional modeling.
• Strong RDBMS/SQL skills with experience on multiple database platforms such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud RDBMS such as Redshift, Synapse.
• Experience in Spring Framework technologies including Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring REST, Spring Security - Experience with Hadoop and other MPP technologies e.g. (Hadoop, YARN, MapReduce, Spark, Hive, HBase, SparkSQL, Kafka, SQOOP)
• Good experience on at least one modern UI frameworks such as Angular and familiar with NodeJS, NPM
• Strong foundation on Web Technologies such as HTML JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience work with open-source web frameworks components such as bootstrap, charting components.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and knowhow to liaise with technical individuals to business executives.
• Familiarity with Open Architecture, Microservice Architecture, Client-Server, Multi-tier / Multi-layered architecture, Micro front-end, multi-tenant
• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent experience
  

Bonus points if:

• You have experience in Product delivery and Product management, agile methodologies and SaaS background
• You have relevant certifications in Big Data Engineering/Analytics
• You have experience in a pre-sales or sales support role
• You have experience in AWS
• You are knowledgeable in Azure and GCP
  

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $138,000 to $208,000
