We are looking for a driven, high-energy, Senior QA Engineer for our digital manufacturing SaaS solution. With ThinkIQ’s Transformational Intelligence platform, manufacturers finally have a complete overview of all operations. Changes in any variable are intelligently linked to both actual and predictive outcomes. This data may help one manufacturer avoid recalls from a temperature spike or assembly line slow down. It may help another manufacturer spot a weakness in their product that could become a major safety concern. As Senior QA Engineer you will interact with product management, software engineers, quality assurance and professional services to ensure the product meets functional and performance requirements as specified by product owners and professional services.

Required experience includes:

• 5+ years working in a similar role with an enterprise SaaS product
• Automation tools such as Selenium
• Track record of building test automation that is scalable, reusable, extendable, and maintainable
• Database experience: PostgreSQL preferred
• Version control systems: Git preferred

Desired experience:

• In addition to a QA background, Development, IT, and Support backgrounds are all a plus
• Familiarity with multiple automation frameworks and ability to learn new ones quickly
• Familiarity with any of the Technologies we use

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the ThinkIQ platform meets functional and performance requirements as stated by product owners, professional services, and customers
• Help make our product a delight to use and rock-solid
• Work closely with the developers to understand new and changed functionality, risks, and the quality of the underlying code
• Communicate user stories and defects with developers, product owners, and professional services using Jira and direct communication
• Document test cases and results using TestRail
• Troubleshoot and analyze problems on staging and production systems

• Overall Stack: LAPP and LAMP (Linux, Apache, Postgres, PHP, and MySQL)
• UI Technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Vue Js
• Middle Tier: PHP using Joomla CMS and Python
• Database: Primarily PostgreSQL, secondarily MySQL
• Data collection and ingestion: .NET using OPC UA
• Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
• DevOps Scripting: Bash and Python
• Cloud Hosting: AWS and Azure
• IT Automation: Ansible
• UI Automation: Selenium
• Unit Testing Automation: PHPUnit, Vue Js, plpgUnit
